Among many of Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions, a design for a bridge could be found that is made of simple rod elements and could be built without any extra fastening. This table, similarily to the bridge, is a structure that is stable without any fittings and has a visible, honest setup. This makes assembly, disassembly and transportation very easy. The table’s aesthetics comes from the laws of physics. The parts could be fabricated with minimum waste using a simple cnc milling machine.
The object was designed for the Call 4 Ideas competition organized by Fablab Budapest and a Distributed Design Market Platform in 2019.
